Terms of Service

The service

ShadowTeck lets you generate AI video from text prompts and reference images, using credits you purchase or receive through a subscription. Credit costs are shown before you generate. Subscription credits are granted each billing period and don't carry over past the next reset; top-up credits you purchase separately never expire and are only spent once your subscription credits for the period run out.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to legally enter into these Terms to create an account. By signing up, you confirm that's true.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

Credits, billing & payments

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled from Account settings; canceling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period. One-time credit top-up purchases are final and non-refundable. All payments are processed by Stripe; we don't store your card details.

We reserve the right to change, at any time, the number of credits granted by a subscription plan or top-up pack, the price of any plan or pack, and how many credits a given generation costs. Changes take effect for future billing periods and future purchases only - they never retroactively reduce credits you've already been granted or already hold in your balance. Where required by law, we'll give advance notice of a price increase to active subscribers before it applies to their next renewal.

EU/EEA consumers: under the Consumer Rights Directive, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase. Because a subscription gives you instant access to the service, that right can only be waived if you expressly consent in advance and acknowledge losing it - which is what the checkbox at checkout asks you to confirm. Without it, checkout won't proceed.

Acceptable use

You may not use ShadowTeck to generate, upload, or store content that:

• Is sexually explicit - pornographic, sexualized, or explicit content of any kind is prohibited outright, regardless of whether the subject is real, fictional, or AI-generated.
• Sexualizes minors in any way - zero tolerance, including stylized, animated, or implied depictions. We report violations to the relevant authorities where required by law.
• Depicts a real, identifiable person without their consent - including likenesses, deepfakes, or reference images of someone who hasn't agreed to be depicted.
• Is illegal, defamatory, or infringes someone else's intellectual property rights.
• Promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, or hatred against individuals or groups based on a protected characteristic.
• Violates the usage policies of our upstream providers (our video generation and AI providers), which we're contractually bound to enforce.
• Is used to spam, abuse, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, without refunding spent credits, and without prior notice for serious violations (e.g. anything involving minors).

Content ownership

You own the prompts and reference images you submit and the videos you generate, subject to the underlying rights of any reference material you provide and the terms of our upstream video generation providers. You grant us a license to store, process, and transmit your content solely as needed to operate the service (e.g. sending your prompt to our video generation provider, hosting your output).

Sharing content between users

ShadowTeck doesn't currently let you share generations with other users - your content is private to your account. We plan to add opt-in sharing in the future; when it ships, anything you choose to share will still be subject to the Acceptable use rules above, and we'll update these Terms with the specifics (visibility controls, whether shared content can be viewed or reused by others) before it goes live.

Intellectual property

The ShadowTeck name, logo, and platform (excluding your content) are our property. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the service itself.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Account settings, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, as described above.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. AI-generated video can be unpredictable - we don't guarantee any particular output, and generation may fail (in which case the credit is automatically refunded).

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShadowTeck isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. This doesn't limit any liability that can't be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law (e.g. for death, personal injury, or fraud).

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Croatia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you're an EU consumer, mandatory consumer-protection law in your own country of residence still applies regardless of this clause, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept it.
