Which video model should I use?

A practical guide to picking a model by clip length, resolution, reference inputs and cost.

Start from what you need

There is no single best model - they differ in measurable ways. This list is generated from the live catalog, so it stays accurate as models are added.

Then check the details

  • Audio. Some models generate audio natively, some take an audio file as input, and some produce silent video. Each model page says which.
  • Aspect ratio. Vertical 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts is supported by most but not every model - the use-case pages list the ones that fit each format.
  • Cost. The pricing page lists what every model costs by resolution and length.

Compare for yourself

Specs only tell part of the story, and output quality depends on your prompt. All models share one balance, so the quickest test is to run the same prompt on two of them: open a finished generation and choose Try on another model. Side-by-side specs are on the comparison pages.
